Review the registry of traumatic injury cases in Iowa to understand how Midwestern farmers are hurt on the job. Medical emergencies entered into the trauma registry from 2014 through 2017 were used for this analysis.

In 2011, the GPCAH Surveillance Core agreed to analyze the Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries, an occupational fatality surveillance system maintained by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This report includes data for agricultural injuries in 12 Midwestern states from 2055-2012.
